Notes: Written on border: "Mar. 1883" Printed on border: "Front. ; No. 12. ; Back." "Sèvres-blue cashmere and satin, with chenille and silk fringe to match. The pointed bodice has an added basque, edged with fringe. The skirt is mounted in kilts and box plaits ; the tablier is pointed, and, as well as the panier, are edged with fringe. The back terminates with a large bow and drapery. Bodice, 2s. 7d. ; skirt, 3s. 1d. This costume could also be made in two shades of brown vicuna."
