Reproductions
As part of its public
service mission, The New York Public Library provides reproductions of
certain items from its collections, for PERSONAL or RESEARCH USE ONLY.
Any other use, including but not limited to commercial or scholarly publication,
exhibition, online/web site, broadcast/film, home video, and promotional
use without prior written permission of the Library is strictly prohibited.
Granting or withholding of permission is determined by the Library on
a case by case basis, and a usage fee is required.
Users should be aware
that materials made available directly through the divisions and through
this web site may be subject to additional restrictions including but
not limited to copyright and the rights of privacy and publicity, of parties
other than the Library. USERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for determining the
existence of such rights and for obtaining any other permissions, and
paying associated fees, which may be necessary for the proposed use.

The copyright law
of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the reproduction
of copyrighted material. Customers will be required to sign an indemnification
statement in order for reproduction to take place. This institution
reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment,
fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.

Saving
to MyGallery
My Gallery
allows you to collect a group of images. Images are currently
saved to MyGallery only for the duration of your session online.
For each of the images you have selected, you will see the image, its unique id and its title.
The ID will let you order a reproduction of the image later, if you choose.
You may return to Performing Arts
in America to search or browse at any time and these items will be
saved while you are online.

Ordering
You
can always change your mind at any point in the ordering process.
Just follow these
five simple steps to place your order.
- To order a reproduction,
click on Save to MyGallery.
- To view MyGallery
selections, click on Order on the top menu.
- From here, you
may simply view your items or order reproduction-quality prints. If
you decide to purchase a print of an image, click on Select Print
Type. This will allow you to select a color or black and white
print.
- After making
your selection, you may proceed to Order Reproductions. Complete
the contact and shipping information on the form.
- Print the order summary and fax or mail to Photographic Services & Permissions.
Orders
for prints from digital images may be placed by mail, phone or fax.

Prints
from Digital Images
All images
will be printed on 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper, though the actual image size
may be smaller. Digital prints are produced using a permanent, silver
halide photographic process. Check with Photographic Services & Permissions
for availability.

in full is required. Photographic Services & Permissions accepts payment by credit card (Mastercard,
Visa or American Express) and check drawn on a U.S. bank, or on a U.S.
branch of a foreign bank; by U.S. postal or bank money order, or international
money order drawn on a bank with a branch in the U.S.

There
are no returns on prints from digital images.

information will be kept completely confidential and secure. No third
parties will ever have access to your information.

permission to reproduce material from this website or material found
in any of the Library's collections consult the Use
Fee Schedule for Images from The Research Libraries, complete an
Application to Reproduce Still Images and
